Once again.....cupcake Sunday!

Hello Everyone! It has been a while since I have posted some new pictures and a very long time since I have added a recipe for the new recipe Sunday Blog party---just one of those things. However, this morning I finally took the time and tried out another Martha Stewart Cupcake Recipe---this time Chocolate Salted-Carmel Mini Cupcakes. You can find the recipe on her web site or in her book Martha Stewarts Cupcakes!

This was a premier on more than one level---first of course a new recipe to try out, but more importantly, I made caramel from scratch for the very first time!!!!! Wow, as always I was quite a doubting Thomas, but in the end success was mine.

As soon as the cupcakes were complete, they got packaged and delivered to my taste testers! Thanks goes out to the Wilkes, the Kulchyckyj´s and the Lehmans for willing consuming lots of cupcakes! No one has complained yet, so I think i can continue baking!

Clara....

Clara is the star of my pink saturday post this week! She is my great-niece(Lordy--that makes me sound sooooooo old!)

 At the moment I am in Cloppenburg visiting family and friends--so nice to be back in our old hometown.!

 Since I left Berlin straight from the office, the only camera I have with me is my treasured I-phone that by the way takes incredible pictures! (my post about will the cat was all i-phone) 

Well, since my arrival, I have been trying to take pictures of my great niece and nephew--with out much success. Someone is always moving! Yesterday, my great nephew Felix---3 years old, managed to do what I (not 3 years old--but much older!) could not. He got these great shots of Clara in her pink and red outfit!

An oldie but a goodie!

My mother in law´s 90th birthday is coming up, so I have been going through my big box looking for pictures of her. Along the way I found this one of my Mom with her 3 daughters!

Easter Sunday in the kitchen

This year, since it was just the three of us, we had Easter Sunday Breakfast in the kitchen. I took some of my ideas from my dining room tablescape and applied them to the kitchen table. I hope you all had a great Easter Holiday---as always the days passed all too quickly!
