please forgive my absence---no exuse really except that life that just got a hold of me and took control! I have soo many ideas, thoughts and pictures that I would like to share with you all, so please be patient, I will return. I will be hosting Book Club this month and so I thought to create a "bookish" style tablescape! This was the first design!

Snickerdoodle Cupcakes

Wow, is really Sunday again? Time really does fly when you get older-and I am only 44! What is going to happen when I reach 80 I wonder?!!!

This New Recipe Sunday finds me in my kitchen, where I usually am--enjoying a cup of tea before the family wakes up and breaks into my perfect silence. The dark period is over and it is now light out early---yea so ready for spring to be here--looking forward to trying out some new bbq recipes!

But for today I would like to share with you another cupcake recipe form Martha Stewarts Cupcake Book.

Cupcake Sunday

Hello Everyone and welcome to New Recipe Sunday! This weeks entry is all about the cupcake! As many of you know, I am baking my way through Martha Stewarsts Cupcakes... My taste testers picked the Tiramisu Cupcake for this week.

Light Shades of Pink

Last week Jodi stopped by and gave me these wonderful tulips---I have been enjoying them all week and now they are fully open and oh wow wonderful they smell.

Chicken Soup for the american in Berlin

Greetings Everyone and welcome to New Recipe Sunday---as every week, this one flew right by me! Already the end of February--WOW. Here In Berlin we are anxiously awaiting spring---time to get back outside and warm up that BBQ!

For now, I would like to share with a recipe for Chicken Soup that a friend of mine shared with me recently. Although chicken soup is by no means something new for me, this particular recipe was.

Chicken Soup by Jill

Wash 4-6 chicken legs

Dice carrots, onions, garlic, celery, and leeks

Bay Leaves

Vegetable Broth

Simmer Everything for about 30-40 minutes.

Take out the chicken, remove the skin and cut the meat into small pieces-return to pot and salt to taste

Add cooked noodles

Enjoy!
