Oma celebrated her 89th Birthday this past August 1! Wow, 89 years---pretty amazing. Orginally I had not planned to set the table--she was doing very well on her own, but after we had bought the flowers----well, I just could not help myself! I had to spice up the table just a touch. So, off I went to Nanu Nana to get some colored stones and pebbles..... The small flower petals on the table are from Oma´s garden. Shortly after her birthday, Oma made a big change in her life--she moved into a Senior Residence---into an Assisted Living Apartment. We spent a few days getting her moved in and settled and she is doing really great. Today she played bingo for the first time in her life! Even won 3 Euros!!
I truly enjoy Tablescape Thursday---take some time and stop by
Between Naps on the Porch for some more lovey, inspiring Tables!
Sehr schön... Sie hat ja echt niedliches Geschirr...
ReplyDeleteHaste gut gemacht!
What a lovely table - the petals and pebbles add so much. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday to Miss Oma! What a pretty table you set. All the glass pebbles go beautifully with the flower colors! I really like the color and texture of the napkins, too! Very pretty touch to add the pink petal to the fork! And the desserts....mmmm, mmmm, good! Have a wonderful weekend, and best wishes to Miss Oma in her new home!
