        Christmas is coming.............

        Happy Holidays from Cook Bake Love........ the christmas cards are written, the gifts are wrapped, the tree is trimmed and the cookies are baked. Time to get creative with my Christmas Holiday Tablescapes 2016.

        Last year in December I was in Illinois and of course a trip to HOme Goods was on my schedule. I found a Christmas Tablecloth with matching napkins that I just had to have!

Yes...the laterns and most of the Christmas Bulbs come from IKEA!

The red stemware comes from STrauss INovations and from Ebay Classifieds

The Table runner......simply red wrapping paper and red "gauze" like material

My dinner dishes......the pride and joy of my table....shout out to my niece and nephew for this gift

Now we are just waiting for the guests to arrive.

 WOW.. THE CHICAGO CUBS WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still can not believe it....... and even though it has been a few days..... I seem to not be able to get enough of watching all the videos about the Cubbies.....can not get enough.... THEY WON!

As many of you know, I live in Berlin Germany.....and even after 27 years I am sometimes still very homesick... but when the Cubbies make it to the WORLD SERIES...and go on to win...well gosh darn it....then I really just want to be there.

But life tells me that jumping on a jet plane is just not in the cards....so we did our best and celebrated in Berlin Germany. To honor the Cubbies....I created a tablescape.....thankfully my son is into baseball..so decorations for the table were not a problem....LOL!

GO CUBS GO..........

I just simply adore my Cricut......... without the letters never would have been so perfect!

Of course it was to be white carnations.....my mom´s favorite flower... I wonder if she joined Harry´s world series party up in heaven? I can only imagine the fun they had up there....

The vases....they come from my neice Heidi´s Wedding last year....

Bought M& M peanuts.....picked out the red and blue ones......my husband can eat the rest!

As if it was fate....I got my red stemware just in time to create this Cubs Tablescape!

Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs!!!!! We always knew you could do it!

HAPPY Halloween!

Halloween 2016 ist upon us? When did that happen? I seriously feel like I just took down the easter decorations.

This tablescape popped into my head when I was at the Metro(german version of Sams Club) and I found the skelton hands...... And you all know me by now....I had to have those..

While putting it all together....I thought to myself some red stemware would be just what the table needed to be TOTALLY COOL....

...hence my dilema when I checked my cabinet and saw that I only have 4 red wine glasses. EBAY CLASSIFIEDS here I come...is what I screamed! AND...success was mine to be had.
