World Cup Soccer is upon us! There is no way to avoid it-everyone is into it. So, since I am an american married to a german living in berlin this weeks tablescape is in honor of the german national team who won their first match 4-0! Tomorrow is a big day for both the americans and germans-both have big games. Germany plays in the early afternoon our time, so I am off to IKEA with Kim--the place will be a ghost town! Then in the late evening I will try to watch the usa game without getting too nervous!

ReplyDeleteLove the soccer ball scatters on the table! My son just returned from a week in Berlin. He brought me a model Brandenburg Gate to use as a centerpiece when we make a German themed dinner. One of these days I'll have to do a German tablescape just to show it off. Anyway, love your table!

ReplyDeleteIllini, what a nice tribute to the German soocer team. I am sure your husband and company had never seen such a cute table before. Lots of German husbands would dream of such tables. LOL. So pretty. Even me, who are not interested in soccer, loves that.
