Ah, a butterball turkey

Yummy! I must confess my favorite turkey is a butterball!! For the past few years we have been lucky enough to sit down and enjoy this bird! To make life easier on myself-we grill our turkey on the gas grill. Works every time---thanks goes to my husband who keeps on eye on it while I am in the kitchen doing last minute prep work on the side dishes.--thanks also goes out to!! A site I check every year just to make sure I am doing everything right.

This year we hosted our annual turkey feast on the 26th of December 2010(the second Christmas Day here in Germany) A good time was had by all--and we look forward to next years feast.

  1. Pizza dip???

I watched an interesting story on TV about how they process all the Turkeys at the same plant and they stick different labels on them just before boxing them up. Some say Butterball, some have store labels, but they're all the same. I usually brine mine, so I don't worry too much about the brand name, but I thought I'd share that info with you. Have a happy new year!

  2. I've never grilled our turkey but it surely sounds good and looks great too. Happy New Year.
